The Following Application Documents Are Required:

Application is only possible online. The portfolio can also only be submitted online.

After a successful registration, the following application documents must be uploaded:

  • Letter of motivation explaining your choice of study (1 to 2 pages)
  • Copies of the general or subject-specific university entrance qualification (if the certificate is not yet available, a current school certificate, as well as a copy of the half-year report)
  • Bachelor's degree certificate, if applicable
  • Curriculum vitae
  • Artistic portfolio with work samples (maximum 20 samples) (one PDF file, 50 MB limit) – No portfolio is required for the Magister program in Art Research and Media Philosophy
  • Videos may optionally be provided as a link (on the portal)
  • For international applicants: If available, current proof of German language proficiency; if applicable, registration for the language exam.

Note: International applicants and students have to submit proof of having passed a language test for enrollment.
