As part of his intermediate diploma, Julius Bläser examined the relationship between function and construction in furniture by sorting and weighing its components according to these two categories.
Probing the Connection btw. Function and its Framework consists of two side tables and three stools. The two most defining characteristics of the furniture were put in relation to each other formally, technically or at the level of the materials in such a way that the categories function and construction largely dissolve.

Julius Bläser (*1996, München) studies product design since 2015 at HfG Karlsruhe. During the course of his studies and on a project-related basis, he worked in the Kilian Schindler office in Karlsruhe and was also involved in student representation, including as a departmental spokesman in the product design department.
