Other Means is a graphic design studio in Brooklyn, New York, working with clients in the arts, architecture, fashion, and media on visual identities, websites, publications, exhibitions, and illustrations. Recent clients include CCS Bard, Goethe-Institut New York, Harvard University Graduate School of Design, James Fuentes Gallery, and Pioneer Works. Since 2014, we have provided ongoing design for the Institute of Contemporary Art in Philadelphia.

In addition to our collaborations with clients, we engage in projects, lectures, and research on the relationship between language, design, and popular culture. In 2013, we initiated the New York session of Typography Summer School, an annual, weeklong intensive graphic design workshop. In 2014, we began Easy Lessoning with Roland Früh and Corina Neuenschwander, a series of casual talks by designers, artists, and curators in New York and Zurich.
