Once upon a time, a petite place called P! (“P-exclamation”) packed a punch in New York’s Chinatown by presenting pretty particular exhibitions with provocative periodicity. Plagued, however, by the precarity of performing such prolific programming, P! passed its poncho onto a calmer kind of comrade. Cooly contemplative in its continuous composition, K, (“K-Komma”) commenced its course in Berlin-Schöneberg with a cast of collaborators that constructs itself, one komma-delimited character at a time. Prem Krishnamurthy’s Karlsruhe presentation positions both projects within a personal and cultural continuum.

Prem Krishnamurthy works between design, curating, writing, and teaching. He directs “Wkshps”, a multidisciplinary design workshop that follows the award-winning studio “Project Projects” (2004–2017).

The talk will be in english.
