The exhibition "Houses to touch" deals with the exhibition of architecture. Through artistic research it negotiates questions on the representation, mediatization, simulation and appropriation of architecture on the basis of the model house exhibition in Fellbach, which was founded in 1971 by the publisher Ottmar Strebel and is, according to its own account, the first of its kind in Germany. Visitors can visit, inspect and buy 66 different, almost completely furnished model houses. The result is a hybrid of exhibition, scenery settlement and simulation architecture.

Opening: February 5, 7pm

The artworks are a result of the seminar "Architecture Exhibition" by Thomas Rustemeyer at the HfG Karlsruhe.
