KAMUNA

Karlsruhe University of Arts and Design was first established as a progressive school on April 15, 1992. It was founded by Heinrich Klotz between the years 1989 and 1992, together with the ZKM | Center for Art and Media Karlsruhe. The combination of teaching, research, and exhibition institutions addresses the given artistic and pedagogic task of relating traditional arts to media technology and electronic production processes.

For the second time in a row, a taster course at the HfG Karlsruhe will be offered again at the beginning of the summer holidays, offering students between the ages of 16 and 20 insights into the university's various programs.
The event includes a public presentation of the workshop results on the Karlsruhe Museum Night KAMUNA on August 3, 2019. In addition to the works created during the taster course, works by HfG students will also be on display.
