How to kill fear?

Mediating between two languages and one science, between a global nuclear economical policy and everyday life - these were central tasks for the visual agency of Karlsruhe's nuclear research center. The translation of highly complex and advanced knowledge into everyday language found its crystallised form in the film production of mocked catastrophes.
The simulative character of those narratives is now being transported on the stage of the big studio, where the reenactment of knowledge production serves a new purpose - to unfreeze the archive.
The official translator of the nuclear research center, Ralf Friese, and Dipl.-Inf. Willi Müller who initiated the video department will present and dubb a film produced 40 years ago into English right in front of us.
The archive becomes alive.
