IFF (Institut für Feinmotorik)

LOCATION: Usdan 9 – 10 PM

IFF

Southern German clicks'n'cuts veterans “Institut fuer Feinmotorik” is a group of four DJ's who perform simultaneously with standard DJ equipment minus the records. During their live performances, IFF build three dimensional micro surroundings that the needles of the record players pick up, creating a stumble-structured rhythmic music that is an interesting mixture of experimental and dance club sounds.

MSP VIII

LOCATION: Andrus Field Football Stadium 10 – 10.30 PM

MSP

MSP (Meyer/Schulze/Purkrabek) explores ways of connecting sound and light by focusing their basic properties in waves traveling through space. The environment of the performance comprises a conceptual starting point and determines the goal of the performance. Depending on the concert configuration, the audience is confronted with extreme dynamics, contrasting sonic matter, darkness, and light spanning from 60w bulbs to dazzling, hot 6kw light-batteries.

Nate Ash-Morgan

LOCATION: Wesleyan Post Office

Morgan
